Yes. This particular poem just sort of poured out of me after learning about a foster teen girl in crisis. She bounces from home to home, sometimes being horrifically abused. I don’t know her personally, but my 16 year old nephew does. My heart breaks for this lost girl, who doesn’t really have anyone in her life to love her. I yearn for us to see these lost ones, and find ways to love them.
